ProConvey is a cloud‑based conveyancing portal for law firms and estate agents that digitises onboarding, compliance, and the end‑to‑end property transaction workflow.
I led a three-developer team to build the platform in-house and launch it on 1 January 2024, meeting the final milestone of a £202,928 Innovate UK Smart Grant project (10045054).
A metadata-driven Forms Engine, the core of the product. A single engine models every question as a hierarchy of forms, sections, steps (questions) and answers, with 621 conditional rules across 26 forms.
The binding layer reads the official Law Society forms, maps each captured answer onto the correct PDF field by name, and places e-signatures and dates, returning the legally recognised documents ready to sign through Yoti.
A backend service that generates a single conveyancer-ready legal bundle. It captures data through the Forms Engine, verifies identity via Yoti IDV, fetches property data from Sprift, populates the Law Society protocol forms, assembles evidence and e-signed documents in object storage, and compiles the final pack.
Queued jobs and webhooks record each transition, so the pack is produced as an auditable and repeatable process.
